In the past, Mike Kash needed to find a better way to get to crops during time-sensitve application windows. He believed he could improve his yields with 5 GPA. So he and his wife, Tricia, purchased two Bell 206 helicopters and started to experiment with fungicide application, nitrogen application, inter-seeding, and more.
The results were effective. Neighbors took notice of the changes and asked for the same treatment. KHS was born and has since made a name for itself as a reliable applicator. Mike and Tricia have since upgraded to having one of their Bell 206 helicopters to a Bell UH-1H Huey helicopter. KHS is now capable of carrying larger loads and covering more acres. Its staff of seasoned professionals works tirelessly to help farmers boost their yield and increase their bottom line.
